Ahoy There Sailors!

Summer is just around the corner – and you know what that means….another fun summer at the EYC!

NEW TYPES OF CAMP

This summer we are offering 2 types of camp:

  1. Full Day of Fun Camp – Designed for kids ages 7-12, who are just starting to sail, or who have basic sailing experience. In this camp, you’ll learn to sail and swim, kayak, do arts and crafts, as well as a bunch of fun games and participate in exciting adventures!  Each week we will have a different theme so there’s lots of variety to keep the good times going!
  1. Sailing Enthusiast –   Combined with the Bronze sail camp, and designed for the camper who has a passion for sailing!   Your child will learn how to sail and race competitively, and progress through the sailing levels with a stronger focus on sailing.  For those of you who love to sail, this is the place to be!  In this camp, sailors may also have the opportunity to attend local regattas, EYC Saturday Junior Races, and hopefully one day advance to become instructors themselves!

NEW INSTRUCTORS

This summer we are glad to announce the arrival of three new Volunteer and Assistant Sailing Instructors: Iain Kerr, Jacob Roulston and Joseph Salter. Ben Worst also joins our team as our new Assistant Swimming Instructor.

RETURNING INSTRUCTORS

Val Kirkland is back as our Head Swimming Instructor. She’ll keep you smiling while you learn to swim!  Madi Worst returns as our Assistant Sailing Instructor and Head of White Sail, she’ll keep you smiling while you learn to sail!

NEW REDUCED FEES FOR ENTIRE SUMMER
This year we are also offering discounted programs for those of you who choose to be with us for the entire summer!  There’s nothing better than spending your summer having fun in the sun in Erieau!  We have introduced a new sailing-only, half day rate, as well as our full day all summer rate.  We have family pricing incentives for families with more than two siblings registered for 2011, details below…
